SlopeLines Privacy Policy

Information and location data

SlopeLines uses your device's location permission to record rides, calculate ride statistics, show your position, and support ride tracking while the app is in the background. Your GPS coordinates, ride routes, names, folders, and statistics are processed and stored locally on your device. They are not sent to the developer or stored on developer-controlled servers.

Your control

You choose when to start, pause, finish, save, export, import, or delete a ride. You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings. Locally stored information can be removed using the app's deletion and trash controls, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling the app. Exported ride files remain under your control.

Third-party content

The app downloads map tiles and interface resources from third-party providers, including CARTO, Google Fonts, and unpkg. Like any internet request, these providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and the requested resource. SlopeLines does not use these services for advertising or analytics and does not provide them with your saved ride history.

Money and advertising

No money is made from SlopeLines. The app does not contain advertisements, subscriptions, purchases, affiliate links, or paid data sharing.

Children's privacy

SlopeLines does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If the app's privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before the relevant app update is released.
